Default No power on my cbr F2

So I can guess that this has been posted before and I have actually read some of the posts, they are a bit beyond me. So the situation is this. Just got the bike out of the shop and was riding down the street will all of the sudden the bike started bogging down. The carbs got flooded. No big deal. I let it sit for a bit and tried to start it with not success. Had a friend bring me a fresh battery and magico presto it fired right up. Went to put my gear on and it died. After that it would start fine but as soon as you hit the throttle it died. Well ok time to get the tow trailer. I then went to turn on the ignition one last time in hopes for a miracle and all of the sudden I have no power. No lights not nothing. Checked all fuses including the main 30amp fuse and all were good. Connections to the ignition switch are good. Tested ground from battery to the starter ground and that was fine. I am thinking that the ignition switch went out but I am not to sure on how to test that. Again I am sorry if this is a duplicate post, but I really need help. Riding season is here and I need to get this fixed.

I need to amind this. I found that when I turn the key to the on position I loose all power at my battery. Could this be a battery issue?

Found the issue. You can delete this post now. It was the battery failing under load.

Red flag here...what was done, and what's the possibility that something was screwed up there.
