Default newbie... i have a stupid question.

i just bought a 1994 CBR 600 f2 and i dont know anything about it. iwant to changethe oil. i have the oil filter but dont know what oil to put into it. any suggestions?and i heard it hasa built in tool kit? is this true and if so where is it? and how do i get to it..how do i take off the seat? HELP!!!!!

for one get a manual.. its very helpful.. the tool kit if its still on the bike will be behind the battery which is under the seat and you can access it from the left side by taking the right rear fairing off. OR you can take both fairings off and the seat is held on by two bolts as soon as you get the fairings off you will see the bolts...then the seat will slide off and you can access the battery box/tool kit that way..

to take the fairings off turn the front "lock" on the rear fairings then it will pop off each side.

i dont remember what oil i use i think its motorcycle specific 10W30 it will take 3.7Qts

I have used 10w-30 Honda oil and Valvoline. Just make sure you use motorcycle oil. Car oil will be ok for your engine but destroy your wet clutches.
