Default Need to get into stock gas tank....lost key

ARGH, already replaced ignition then realized I couldn't get into the tank. I ordered a keyless gas cap but now I realize I need the key to take the old one off.

HELP, Please

The key code is stamped on the ignition. Take that to a locksmith and you are good to go.

Otherwise they can try force through the cap.

FYI, Motorcycle Key Blanks, Honda, Ducati, Kawasaki Motorcycle Key Blanks, Scooter, ATV Keys Yamaha, Keys4UrRide.com did it for under 20 dollars. perfect fit.

Strange that no one local was able to do it and they all were not easy to work with in the first place. PITA, actually and $100

anyway this website made a perfect key. the fuel tank was stuck so I inserted a slender screwdriver next to the key and hammered it in. twisted open...

thanks

Sweet. I just bought a complete lockset for my F2, but it only came with 1 key, so I want a spare made. Also need a second key for my XX. So this will come in handy.

months before I lost my key I took it up to Home Depot. they had my car key and made a copy but were out of the CBR blanks. good chance they can make you a copy
