Need Expert advice on 94 cbr 600
Taken my bike to a couple shops and no one seems to know whats wrong with it. If anyone would happen to be an expert on the electrical system you can save me from tossing this bike over a cliff. Ok today i put a new battery in the bike. Fired up with know proble. Went for a ride and after about an hour of riding it, I came to a stop sign and at idle the bike instantly shut up. The battery seemed to have full power but when i pushed the start button there was silence. Did not even try to crank over like the start button was not even trying to do anything.
Ok i have done alot of work to this bike now trying to solve this problem.
At first the bike would get really hot and blow the regulator rec..quick
I would replace with another one that was first an aftermarket it. Again the problem came back it blew the rectifer not long into the ride. Ok pissed at this point. Replaced the stator and bought another rectifer. This one was an OEM model. Ok same thing happened again. Bought another rectifer and then replaced the whole wiring harness( It was a used one ) Everytime it blow up too it most of the most of the time the battery would be killed and could not be recharged. Then i heard from someone else to replace the rectifer with one off a 2000 gxr 1000 regulator reftifer. Being told that it larger rectifer could handle more current and not over heat. Rode the bike 1 month last winter and put it away working. Today got it back out and with another new battery cause i just so happened to leave it in the bike over winter. Needless to say rode the bike for an hour and came to a stop and the bike just died again...
So im hoping there is someone that can help point me in the right way or somebody you might know that really knows these electrical systems on my bike. I live in Canton Ohio My email is Bschumann944s2@yahoo.com
Thanks
Brian S.

It seems like you've replaced everything that could be problematic, more than once...
I'm really not sure what it could be, I could only advise that you check for any shorts or bad grounds and make sure you have the correctly rated fuses in their proper slots.
Good luck Brian, that sounds like a frustrating run of misfortune.

I just had a thought, I can't remember if our flywheel has diodes that rub on the stator pads or if it uses magnets or something, it's a little fuzzy to me.
But, if the diodes are worn out, or the pads on the stator (which you've replaced, so likely the diodes) it will not convert alternating current from the stator to DC and it will put an impulse into the battery then take it back out... which will kill the battery.
Take a picture of the stator and flywheel if you can

The First three rectifiers were for a cbr 600 f2 and i did not put on an aftermarket heat sink
This time around with the gxr 1000 rectifier it does not even seem to get hot. Im checking that today after i get off work. Yes the oil and headlight lights are on but all that happenes when i go to push the start button does not try to crank but the lights dim a little bit. Horn is really loud. Lights work....
