Question My shift lever is bent... Should it be?

Can you guys do me a huge favor and go check the shift lever on your F2 and see if it bends inward? My lever is bent inward (toward the motorcycle) near the "peg" and it's kind of akward to shift because I have to really angle my foot inwards to catch the peg with my foot. The bike has been down by the previous owner, and I see that the shift lever was impacted, but I'm not sure if the bend is supposed to be there

I bent mine outwards so my riding boots would fit under it.
I guess bend it back out if you want just be careful not to snap it off.

Bend it where you need it; it won't break. I also re-indext mine on the splines to make it more comfortable. On my bike the round part of the shifter made two indents in the aluminum bolt boss behind it, I assume when it was put down.
