Default my project F2

Im a new guy around here so let me start out by saying hello to everybody and also that ive been all over this forum and you guys are awesome and super helpful. Anyways, I bought my F2 several months back and when I saw it I knew I had to rescue her cuz she was in really bad shape. So after lots and lots of work and hours looking through post on this website this is where Im at right now. The only thing I have left is new brake pads, front fender, turn signals and a tune. Let me know what you guys think good or bad.

I looked at the last picture first, and I was like, "Yeah. That's pretty decent." Then I looked and the other pictures, and I was like "#@!% $&!" Good save man, good save. I'm doing a resto right now too, but my starting point looked different than yours...

Props on the eBay fairing score. I've been in the market for months and I can't find anything useful. 10 more posts and I can put a want ad on here!

i paid 300 for her originally. the guy didnt know what he was doing and thought that the coil pack was bad. so after alittle checking i found the cdi was bad and the sparkplugs were nasty. after changing them it fired right up. and surprisingly the engine was in pretty good shape for sitting for so long. im just really paranoid that theres going to be something wrong like bad rings or something. ive replaced alot on it thought because it was sitting outside uncovered for who knows how long. but after reading peoples post on here about rebuilds i had alot of confidence that i could turn it from a turd into a gem. so far so good.

make absolutely sure there's no coolant in the oil. It took out my motor, and I paid 1100 for mine... I'm now up to 2K and it still doesn't run.

Is that an ebay Hong Kong fairing kit or an OEM set that someone was selling?
