My first bike purchase?

Red $2800
Selling 1994 CBR 600 F2. Bike is red in color has had decals removed and has a two brothers exhaust. Bike has 22,000 miles on it, it was just serviced in Dec. battery was replaced last year and is ready to ride. Runs great.

Price being asked is too high. Offer low $2ks like everyone mentioned.
Not sure where you are, but people seem to think that bikes appreciate in value when they get old. I saw an ad on CL last week for a 88 or 89 CBR and they wanted $3k. I almost e-mailed just to point out that they were asking about 2x what the bike might be worth in great shape.

Here is the actual link. Thank for the advice thus far. I talked him down to 2500. I haveent looked at it in person either. Is it that much more power in a cbr600 vs a 500(Suzuki gs500f)

WELL CAN SAY MUCH I PAY 2100 FOR MY ONE AND SPEND LOTS OF MONEY ONE IT, MY 0,02 THE F2'S DONT HAVE PROCE YOU PAY AS MUCH AS YOU FELL LIKE IT, I SOLD A 1982 CB 750 FOR 3700 YEAR AGO WHIT 47K MILLES ON IT, LIKE I SAY OLD BIKES ARE LIKE UGLY WOMANS ALWAY IS SOME ONE WAITING FOR HER
