Default Motor swap poll

Ok everyone..I need some help deciding what motor i want in my f2. If I am correct, the F2 has a claimed 84hp, the f4 has a claimed 110HP @ 12500rpm, The 99' cbr 900RR has a claimed 125hp @10000rpm. Im open too a F3 if it proves to be better than any of these...Im looking to produce the most possible RWHP and maximum torque as well as top speed. Any other ideas welcome. Thanks!

New bike.

Where's the option for "This topic is done to death!" ?

If it was my bike, I'd keep the F2 engine, get it running nice, spend a little bit of money on simple mods for brakes and suspension, enjoy it for what it is.

What it is:

15 year old technology, fast enough, comfy.

You want the latest and greatest Squatch, I'd save the cash and get a new one if you're after pure unadulterated performance!

Well not to offend you hershey..but thats exactly what I dont want...your bike, or anyone elses bike. I want it to be something that is 100% unique and every aspect of it as good as it can be. Don't get me wrong..Im going to go to a new bike in the next 3 years...but Im going to keep my f2 for a long time so I want it to be something special.

My friend has the 900rr on his f3 and loves it so much what i had on my f3 was a turbo you might wanna go with that "f3 motor with turbo" i have pix for proof. i wasdestroying gsxr 750's and busa like mad the 1300's were trying there best to keep up i maxed out hp at i think it was 130 with carb and turbo work with full exhaustI topped my speedo out but the rpms were still moving. my speedo says 170 and i had it pinned. If i think correctly i think i was closer to 180 mph pegged but only for like 2 seconds scared the **** out of me but thats my opinion

Its a big mouth turbo. It came off my friends eclipse. The turbo wasnt stock, he had riced out his eclips was racing a 69 camarro at the track pulled 10 sec in the quarter and brakes failed and he hit the wall doing 90mph and destroid the car. luckly he had roll bar and helmet on but i bought the turbo from him and had a header made to fit along with a bread box "air box" i jetted the carbs and had the 2 brothers slip on from midpipe on im accually still using the 2 brothers slip on i had gotton for the turbo. Whats cool was i had a boost controller but couldnt go over 4psi didnt want to blow the top end off of it and i also had a boost meter wich i mounted on the pillar next to the windscreen

You could have just run the turbo off the stock headers, after you get to the pipe section (cut it up and weld in a flange)... keeps the turbo cooler too.

I think making the air box is probably the most complicated part (unless you can just cut a hole in the stock one and screw a pipe to it...

acually you need a fatter tube header or you wont get enough spin out of the turbines and the air box had to be bigger to keep the right air pressure to the fully tunes carbs. theres alot of work in the turbo set up. need to run oil lines and boost controller always wondering when the turbo is going to blow your head off you bike but i have to admit it was fun having it watching all the guys on 1000's wonder how a lil old f3 kicked there *** lol they were stumped. it was a total sleeper couldnt see the turbo at any angle
