what are you doing to get 50? I usually get 35.

Where do you shift?

No doubt - most I have gotten on my bike is about 170miles tank to tank, on a cruise day where I was loping along with a couple of cruisers. That only works out to about 47mpg.

Typically I'm about 35mpg around town. 50 mpg means you got over 180 miles on a 3.6gallon tank, unless you sucked the reserve dry too.

I am also getting 33-35 mpg. These F2s are thirsty sumbitches.

Same here... blew the #1 spark plug out of the head (stripped threads) and I decided to replace the engine (it had about 95K on it)... $300 and a few nights in the garage = engine with 49K and a fresher 'feel' (mostly fresher shifts and what feels like a bit of extra power but that could just be my happiness of having the ol' F2 back on the road)

The old engine should be an easy fix and then it will be for sale (unless I decide to make 'Death Kart 3000', an off-road buggy of doom).

on a cruise tank seriously i cruise under 5k going about 55 everywhere and it just lasts.. idk why.. i have a good mechanic who tuned my carbs how i wanted.. but i also dont do stupid **** when i dont need to .. cops here are really quick to pull us over so i chill a lot.. but even speeding im getting better then 35.. always averaging about 43... also i use chevron with techron lol it actually is a better longer lasting gas once you use it for a complete full up..
