Massive carb leak and now wont turn over.

Hey guys so I have only been riding my 94 cbr 600 f2 for about 2 weeks now after getting it from my dads where it sat for about 2 months. All I did was charge it up and it ran fine....except the left carb overflow tube was dripping while I was riding. The weird thing is it stopped dripping after the first couple of days so I thought the problem fixed its self. I went to publix this morning to get some food and also topped off the gas. I ate and it wasnt even 30 minutes after getting home that I was going to head over to a friends. When I went to start it, it was "weakly" turning over and then just stopped and started making a clicking noise as if the battery was dead. That was when I noticed a **** ton of gas leaking out of the carb but it wasnt from the overflow tube. It seemed to be coming from the back side of it...maybe where the tube connects into the carb? Either way it was leaking wayyyy more than when I first started riding it again. I took off the tank and air filter and 2 of the cylinders were had gas up above the black thing when looking into it. Any idea on what I need to do?

First of all turn the petrol off at the tank, take the carbs off cos they need attention, mop out as much petrol as you can, take the spark plugs out and see if you can syphon out any petrol in the cylinders, check your oil level cos maybe its filtered into the sump

They are leaking because your needles are sticking.
This happens after bikes sit for a while and on older bikes.

All you have to do is take the carbs off.
Remove the float bowls.
Pull the needles and clean the needles, seat and walls where the needles slide up and down.
Put everything back together and you should be fine.
If your feeling ambitious you could clean the entire carbs too.
If you've got gum residue in the needles, you've probably got some in the rest of the carbs too.

As for it not starting, you may have a charging problem or if it's an old battery, you may just need a new one.
