I would figure a temp tune of the idle would be pretty accurate. If you've got everything done like in my circumstance, (valve adjustment, new plugs, clean carbs, soon to be carb sync) then the A/F mixture should be pretty comparable in each cylinder. With good spark and similar A/F mixture in all cylinders, the heat from combustion should be pretty similar at idle.
