I was loaned a Suzuki GSR 600 (brand new) while my '93 F2 was in the shop a couple of weeks ago.

It was like riding a scooter and it sounded like a hairdryer!! I was so glad to get my bike back.

But just to add insult I was flashed doing 46mpg in a 30 limit on the bloody thing!!! (received the notice this morning) The road was wide, empty in a non-residential area and the bleeding Suzuki had a digital speedo. Anyway, enough excuses, but point is it's easy to speed when you're not used to the bike, I guess.

BTW - I'll be served with 3 points and a £60 fine.

 

I prefer older bikes, I love the analog speedo dial-eaiser to get an idea from a glance.
