I put the Pilots on mine and I am very impressed with how they handle. I ride in rain sometimes and they do great in rain.

So far I have put about 500 miles on the tires, I personally like stickier tires which is why I went with the qualifiers, they also warm up very fast. When I ride to work in the early spring that is a big plus cause I leave for work at 4am! I will try and get some pics of the bike this weekend and get em posted up for you to see the mirrors. Only downside to them is them are smaller than oem, so it takes a bit to get use to them. Took me a while to get em adjusted right so I didnt look like a retard moving my shoulders in all the time to check my mirrors!

Metzeler M3's are amazing too, on par with the Michelins.

I was about ready to sell my 01 GSXR 750 because it handled much worse than a 04 gsxr 600 that I had - decided to put some race take-offs on the 750 and it was every bit as good as the 04. I also love pilots. Yes, new tires make a HUGE difference in handling. H-U-G-E!!!!!
