Smile K&N air filter

i just bought a k-n- air fliter do i need a jet kit for it, all i have is a slip on, not racing, just casual driving

for casual driving i dont thing that u will need some jet kit

Your probably goin to need to re jet it. The aftermarket filters let in to much air. If you dont it'll run like crap

This subject has been kind of beat to death, there are several threads just recently touching on the same subject - check this one out from 5 days ago, and see if you get some answers - you can also do a search on the forum and find quite a few more.

I personally recommend you stick with the OEM type paper filter, unless you're ready to do a lot of work to make it run right with the K&N.

I agree with staying with the paper. What's the point of putting on the k-n besides telling all your biker buds that you have a cool filter
