This book value is only $2000 or so. But with the low miles and overall condition of the bike, I know it is worth a little more. The dealer said it runs great but wouldn't start it for me when I asked. He said it was "winterized" with fuel stabilizer in it. Either it doesn't start so well, or he didn't want to bother with someone who he wasn't sure was truly interested in the bike. They appear to be a legitimate shop though, so I'm thinking it may be the latter. But I won't buy a used bike without hearing it start and run, so he will have to do so before he gets my money. I may offer him $3200 for it as it did not sell on auction at $2900. We'll see!
