I got a leak!!!
So I get home tonight and I see what looks like dog p puddled in the rim of my front tire so I find the nearest rag and proceed to wipe it up. After a quick wipe I noticed it was kida greasy and my fork tubes/ brakes are covered. I was just riding last night and noticed nothing leaking when I got home. Is it normal to have a gusher like that overnight or do I have some other problem other than needing new seals?
No wheelies, but I am 6'4" 280lbs .I'm sure that doesnt help much! Front brake fluid is full but it does look like I could have a leak where the rubber goes into the banjo fitting near the caliper unless its fork oil. Is there a color diff between the two? Thanks Bindel and Blkf2
brake fluid should be clearish to light brown..
fork oil-i have seen in alot of different colors.
pump the crap out of the brakes and if theres a leak you will know because it will spray, gurgle and you will hear bubbles..

I just pumped the sh*t out of her and nothing came out( insert all jokes here) guess its fork oil. Whatever it is it left a nice stain on my white rim . Guess Ill be replacing fork seals. Maybe Ill have some SS brake lines put on while its at the shop. Any trusted brands for seals and lines? Thanks guys!
