can someone please get me a pic to show me what lines are what. i think the bottom conectors go to the fuel on the petcoch and the top ones go to the vacume? is that right? pics please.

also if i use a petcock with no vacume would i only have to block off the vacume lines coming off the carbs or is there another line i need to block.

thanks for any help and pics with dicripsions would really help

#1 cylinder line is only one for the petcock.

the #1 cylinder is the only vacume line? so what are all the hose connecters for?

r u talking about the ones on the intake?? yes if you use a gravity feed pedcock all you have to do is cap that 1 vacume line off..

If you have a california model you have quite a few lines to consider. Most are smog related to trap and reroute emissions back to be burned. The one from cyl#1 Tees off of a valve (PCV) to and from the emissions cannister. Cylinder #4 has a line to the other valve (AVCV). There is a set of large lines leading from the carbs to a manifold to a small carbon filter tank under the frame.

Here's a scan of my manual with hoses colored in to help me with identifying stuff. California model.
