Default Help needed with engine noise.

Hi all, Please help. Approx 600 miles ago I changed the cct for a manual one. Up until now it has been fine and cured my original rattle. I now have a metallic ticking sound on tickover and as I am riding through the rev range it almost soumds like an old Ducati. Noisy compared to normal a kind of deep sound like exhaust is blowing or air filter missing but its not these. Could this be anything to do with changing the cam chain tensioner.

As always any help and advise is appreciated, I don't want my bike to die yet.

Please help, I removed the right hand side casing today, I suspect I have been riding with an over tightened cct as it looks pretty bloody tight. My noise is coming from directly behind the exhaust manifold. Does any body know what this could be and have any idea how I can find out. thank you.
