Default Head swap question

Will an f3 head fit my f2. I have a chance to get a f3 head and if it will fit I would like to do some work to it and swap it out with the one I have. Looking to do a port and polish and do a good valve job on it. Does anyone know what the valve to piston clearance is? Thought about maybe milling the head and try to raise the c/r a little. Thanks Adam

Just in case you dont know, do not polish the intake ports - only the exhausts.

You want rough intake ports.

Thanks and I'm assuming I want a rough intake port to help atomize and combine the air/fuel mixture? I'm used to cars, but then again there is an intake on it that gives the air/fuel mixture a swirling action before it reaches the head.

Yes, rough surface creates turbulance andkeeps fuel atomized, smooth surface will cause the fuel to form droplets and roll down the port wall.
