Default Going to the track for the first time

I stoked! ... But very nervous!

What do you think ill run? Any tips/suggestions or anything I should look out for?

I am going to be honest.... I can't burnout is that going to be a big deal other than the fact ill look like a newbie? I hope to run at least high 11s by the end of the day. I have been to the track before but it was in my Camaro, so I know how things operate but not on a bike. My buddy is taking his 05 RR and he has gone multipul times.

Wish me luck! Ill post up times tomorrow night when I get back! Gates open at 5pm tomorrow.

Bike mods are, +2 rear sprocket, k&n filter, two bros slip on. Not sure about jetting or not.

I think the burnout is unnecessary on your bike

Good luck LS1!! I've never seen an F2 go down the track before so definitely post up your times. I'm very curious how it will do.

I just did ArmDrop last weekend, its put on by the Pinks dude. It was super hot and I havent been to the track in a few years. 92 F2 25,xxx miles, Yoshi slip on and properly jetted, down one on the front, 3 yr old road race rock hard tire in the rear. Didnt (cant) burn out. Ran very constistant 12.1's. A few years ago when I went weeks in a row, 11.4's were easy with my best pass an 11.2 at 119.7, so damn close to a 10.xx at 120! I still think that is attainable. See if I can attach a photo.

Great vid!
A bit slow start thou. Sounded like you almost chocked the engine with too few revs, or even started at 2nd gear (which im sure you didnt )

Improve on that start and you'll have an 11 sec run easy!

Thanks!

I was slipping the clutch as quick as possible at 7k.

I sure hope so, I want this old girl to be in the 11s!

As of today, I shortend my pipe about 5 inches. Not sure it will do anything but it should look a ton better!
