to get a new bike or not

to get a new bike or not
So other day I went to the local bike dealership just scoping out bikes and stuff. Well they have an 01 RC51 with only 3000 miles on it for $6500. So here's the deal, I can walk in monday and drop $1000 down on the new bike and after buying it I would sell my F2. Or I can just keep my F2 and just do a lot of work with it over the winter and maybe a 900rr swap (if you did a 900 swap speak up, would like to hear the good and bad about it). What would you guys do?
Also a little about my F2. Its a 1994 with 33,000miles. Many of those miles were raced on the track. I have a set of Sharkskin race fairings for it. It has Ohlins rear suspension, front forks are tuned by Superbike Italia, carbs are jetted (stage 2 I think), Vortex clip-ons, CFM rearsets, sprockets, extra set of new tires, spare F3 rear rim, and I'm sure there is more.

Well I thought about the RC51 being a street bike and the F2 being the track, but I mean come on the RC51 is like a dream track bike so that would be kinda pointless. I would sell the F2 if I got the RC51.
^MT what did you buy when you sold the F2 that made you regret it?

RE: to get a new bike or not
I actually just sold the f2 without getting another bike.
I regretted selling it because I had a very hard time finding another f2 like that one...in great condition with less than 20,000 miles and which had not been crashed, or downed hard.
Plus I then got a VFR which was a fat pig and I hated riding that thing [:'(]

Just my opinion, but I heard the RC51 can be a very uncomfortable bike for certain riders...and the f2 is known for comfort and sportriding.
So before you sell your f2, once you get the RC51, maybe just wait a bit and see if the RC51 really can take the place of the f2 in riding on regular roads and on the track

I've been thinking a little more and I probably won't get the RC51. I've kinda become attached to my bike and I don't think I would be impressed with the track performance of the RC51 compared to mine being set up well. I think I might just repaint the bike and put the F3 style Smokin Joe tail on it and do a Euro headlight conversion and possibly a 900rr swap. Thanks for the imput guys.
