GasValve.. petcock issues
What are the options for a 94.. the gas valve on mine is way messed up.. a new one is close to 180 bucks here.. and id perfer not to buy one..
I got the rebuld kit for the thing... but the valve still doesnt work real well... especially if you get somewhat low on gas.....
hard to turn it as the plastic handle is broke off... and it is still difficult to turn...
Is there just some on /off valve i can put on there... with out the vaccum etc....
Any options..... or any good valves for sale??
Thanks
Rick

Vacuum is required I think.
Can you go to a wrecker?
A few guys on this site are parting out F2's, try that?
Try these:

tao, sending you a pm....
as far as the vacuum goes... mine works fine.. it is the part i bought new to rebuild.. its the actual valve.. on off.... on mine...
it does not turn well at all... very difficult.. the plastic **** is brole off as is some of the metal... we have to turn it with pliers..
and it just doesnt flow well..... if you get 100 miles on the bike... you may get stuck..... in the on or reserve position.. when the fuel gets somewhat low.... it acts as if it is out of gas completely... The tank has to stay filled to run properly at all..
What i was wondering... from all the backyard mechanics.... can a simple free flow on/off valve be plumbed in with an external fuel filer.. instead of this goofy contraption???
Or would that be too free flowing and load up the carbs?
