Default Finally get to leave the garage and post!

So I got the F2 out of the back of the garage yesterday after putting the charger on it the night before. Started it up with no problems and promptly took it up the road about a half mile to warm things up a bit. Then it was back to the garage for some serious work.

I installed my FactoryPro shift kit that I will be posting a Howto on. I used my sisters camera and will have to wait for her to e-mail me the pictures sometime after next week. Then I'll fully document the whole affair.
I also installed new grips and bar ends and filled it up with Amsoil fully synthetic 10w-40. After all that it was time for a bath. Now all I have to do is wait for the weather to cooperate and get above 55 degrees.

Other than that there was no real point to this post, just felt like sharing.

Tell me that isn't one of the sharpest F2's you've ever seen.

Nice bike! Amsoil, IMO, is the ****! I change mine every 2500 miles with it.

For as much as the Amsoil costs, I sure hope its the ****. I paid about 8 bucks a quart for it at NAPA. The Royal Purple brand was 10 bucks a quart. I was like, holy crap.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to ride it since I put the shift kit in. I'm in Richland Center Wisconsin, which is maybe an hour and a half north of the Iowa border. It was warm last week but now its cooled off a little. Currently its right around 32 degrees.

As far as shift feel goes, I only got to try it while on the rear wheel stand. It seemed like it would grab the next gear a lot easier with less input. The F2 shift kit is just a heavier spring for the detent arm, not the whole star, arm and spring kit for newer bikes, which ThirdGenlxi wrote a Howto for. I'll hopefully write up my own Howto to suppliment his, because there are some differences that I noticed. I took a lot of pictures, but won't be able to get them up until sometime next week.

and alejandro, my bike, as it sits now, was a total investment of about 2 grand. So for what I have invested, I think its a pretty sweet machine.
