Default f4i rear shock

I just got a new f4i rear shock for my bike, the ride height on the shock is set really high, how do you adjust the ride height on the shock? Its weird looking, lol. I know the bike will sit a little higher in the back with the f4 shock but the height on the shock is set at the max. positioning. thanks guys.... Also what do you guys think of the f4i shock on your bike? feel good? thanks

The actual ride height is not adjustable..the compression and stiffness is but not the actual height. I have one on my bike and love it, it handles allot nicer

yea I have the same problem and I do not feel comfortable leaving it like that....right now I just have a 2x4 under the stand. I wonder if F4 stands are longer? Also what you may be able to do is make a steel bracket that just bolts up the the original mounting point and just puts the stand closer to the ground if you get what im saying

Any good welder can safely extend a side stand as much as you need. I had an XS 650 that I turned into a scrambler that needed an extra 4" of kick stand. I paid a local shop $15 to add the length. Worked like a charm.
