RE: F4i forks on an F2??????
The F4 forks are a different diameter than the F2, so you need to swap the entire front end, not just the forks. I am not sure if the triple clamps are compatable, or if you will have enough room since the larger forks also make the spacing wider.
If it were me I would just get late model ( 94) F2 or F3 forks

Thanks man, I thought that there would be issue's with the caliper bolts but I guess I did not consider the triple clamps. I would rather get into F3 forks, than getting into F4i forks, if it can be done much more efficient.

RE: F4i forks on an F2??????
After carefull consideration I will be rebuilding my front forks with racetech springs and thicker fluid. I weigh in at 243pnds witch is 43pnds overweight for the stock setup. by having the F4i rear shock it also transfers more weight to the front as you all know. The reason for not pursuing newer model shocks is that they appear to be rare to get a hold of and would most likely require a rebuild anyway.
