It is, but it will lower the F2 as I understand it, so you'll want to lower the front a bit too..

It will bolt on, but the spring rate is totally wrong. If swap it, swap the dogbone linkage too and it'll work somewhat better.

My real question is why are you putting the F3 shock on, its no better than what was on the F2.

Hey, I'm new to the board this is my first post:

The F3 rear shock has a remote resevoir and damping adjuster, I'm making the same upgrade as well as many others.

I've got a 93 F2.

i had the f3 shock on my bike.. it lowered it about 2-3 inches... it handled compleatly different.. not bad though... If you want the external resivor get one from a 94 f2. then you will not mess with ride height and spring rates.. you just need to search for them for sale.. I belive that tmr931 has one for sale right now.. here is is for sale threadhttps://cbrforum.com/m_349902/tm.htm.
If you really want a f3 shock I have one that I am willing to sell. pm me if interested

That is strange BlkF2. I put a 95 F3 shock on my 93 F2 and it didnt change the ride height at all. I was even had to lower the preload to obtain the 25mm compression when I am sitting on the bike.

Because i saw a f3 shock absorber for sale on the internet, and i can't find one for the f2! But it kind of sucks when it will be lower...In don't really want that haha.

@ Hershey: i have a remote resevoir and damping adjuster also cause i have the f2 model from '93. Maybe this one is the same as the one from the f3? Does anyone know that?

Thanx for the replies btw
