I remember reading somewherethat the 94 shock was stiffer than the other F2's, is this correct? Or is the F3 one still the way to go? And, how much is a fair price to have a shop set up the suspension with my weight? thanks for any input.

Not sure about the spring rate on the f3/f4 shock. I think the F4 shock changes the ride height though, where the F3 didnt seem to change mine at all.

 

f4/f4i shocks raise it by 2inches I believe. You best bet is to get one of those shocks then get the f4/f4i lowering link and then the back can be lowered a bit. You can also just buy a progressive racing shock for the f2 for 389 on ebay, and/or find a used fox one.
