Anyone know this? I Found a cheap one and wanna make sure.

 

my advice is forget it man. a k ~n filter will make ur bike run like poo. ive been there done that jet kit be damned the best thing for our pressurized airbox is a paper filter. if ur determined i still it hangin around real cheap only put about 40 miles of testin and tuning on it.

 

I had K&N filter on my F2 and it worked fine.

 

I looked at the KN website. The F3 has a part number HA-6095 and the F2 is HA-6091. They look different and have different dimensions. So no they are not interchangeable.

 

i thought they had a totally different air box any ways?

 

They do have different air boxes because a F2 uses a regular air box but the F3 uses a Ram air box to try and get more horse power.

 

I have a new OEM filter if you want it. $50 shipped or I am just going to return it. Its a good deal.

 

true it will work but do a 1/4 run with it then do one with a stocker. if you dont feel the difference (which u should) then your time will tell you all u need to know.

 

Maybe true. Never had my bike on the track. But on the street it was ok. I never raced my bike on the street.
