I just bolted in what I believe to be a 98 F3 shock (maw-601), with the F3 linkage, onto my 91 F2. The height feels the same, but feeling is not really an exact science.

Does anyone know if this will change my ride height which will also effect my rake? If so, by how much? I take this bike to the track and the last thing I need is to find out the hard way by eating asphalt.

 

I've got an F3 shock in my F2 using the F2 linkage and I didn't notice a change in height, I should have taken measurements to verify but I was lazy...

I've never felt a compromise in stability or traction with the new shock.
