F2 Vacuum diagram???
hey guys i have an F3 with an f2 motor in it and i'm having some problems, i need a vacuum diagram for an f2. I have one for an f3 but i'm not sure they are the same. I only have two vacuum lines hooked up on my bike and they come from the #1 carb and the #3 carb and are hooked to the vacuum line off of the petcock. i know there has got to be more vacuum ports on the carbs, please help!
bike bandit was kinda hard for me. check the top of ur airbox if no diagram there ill get u a pic of the one off of mine. is urs a cali model? check under ur swing arm for the charcoal canister if its there u got a cali.
my bike is all screwed up. I have a charcoal canister, but my bike wasn't a cali model, actually just took it out and bypassed the air vent solenoid valve, i just need to know which carbs have a vacuum port and where its supposed to go.
k so the f3 was a cali and ur f2 motor is not for sure right? in any case 3 hose two on the outside and the big one in the middle fer ur airbox. mines a cali so dont know how realivent that is to urs but hope it helps.
please help, i have the middle air supply hose hooked up to the airbox. I just need to know where the vacuum lines on the carbs are and where they hook up on an f2. disreguard the fact that the bike is an f3, i'll figure out what needs to go where with the interchangability issue but i just need to know where all of the vacuum lines run on a stock f2.
Kind of hard since I'm not near my bike to check the vacuum lines but I'm pretty sure the one from the #1 carb goes to the gas tank, and I don't really know about the one on the third carb, maybe nothing. If you don't have an answer by the end of the week I'll look at my bike this weekend and give you an answer. Sorry I can't help you out before then.
Have you checked the F2 service manual? If you don't have one check the top of the General Tech forum I think and the thread subject is something like ***place manual site links here*** that might have your answer

Ok, so I looked at my service manual. The hose that connects to the airbox is a big fat one and that one goes back to the cylinder head. The number four carb vacuum hose goes to the gas tank. Then I see theres a hose that is maybe off of the 2nd carb? That one just has a cap on it. I was looking at section 3-9, second picture. The carbs are numbered from RIGHT to LEFT, so the leftmost one is actually carb #4 according to the service manual.
