F2 has me at a loss.
So basic problem is it wont stay running and sounds awful. I ran out of gas on the main and switched to reserve. It would turn over but not start. Added a gas. Still no start.
so get it back to garage. I can get it started but ONLY with the choke fully open and cant touch the throttle. As soon as I do it dies. So i figure a piece of crap has gotten into the carbs. Before i pull the carbs, i check petcock (leave it open, suck on the vacuum and fuel comes out). Then check spark plug 1 and 4. Excellent spark. Soooooooo I pull the carbs.
Extensive carb cleaning. Jets , everything. Put every thing back on and it is the same. Where do I go from here?...

Just an update.
So when I remove the airbox cover and k&n filter, it will start and run fine-ish. When it warms up it will rev fine. So i take it for a spin. I get two blocks and it starts dying like I am running out of gas. Hit the choke it will stay running. IT ahs done this twice. Any body have a Idea as what is going on. This is driving me nuts. I have spent all my free time in the last week at it. thanks in advance

Hey cowboy. Thanks for the reply. It is the ca model. I had help from a friend. Turns out that my main switch on the petcock is intermittently faulty. So I have it switched to reserve and it is flying. So the full carb clean was overkill, but it doesn't hurt . By the way I did it all in the carb clean.
The bitch of it is that that was one of the first things I checked. Pulled off the tank then sucked on the vacuum hose, with the swich on, and gas came out.So I ruled that out. But It was not enough to keep her running right. So good advise from the cowboy, measure your gas flow rate.
