F2 front fender ???
 

On my 91 F2 the front fender sits so close to the tire that I can hear it rubbing at slow speeds. I have the stock size front tire on there and don't know why it would rub. I have tried adjusting it but that hasn't worked. Any reason why?
Does the F3 fender bolt on or no?
I've seen a few modified front fenders and tried finding them again but they were usually buried in a thread somewhere , so if anybody has pics of their modded fender please post it up.

Is it the OEM fender, or from an aftermarket fairing kit?

F3 fender will not bolt up.

It's the stock fender.

Are you sure it's a stock size tire? 120/60 is stock and shouldn't rub. A 120/70 will rub on the front fender, but they were never a stock size.

Even my racing tires never rubbed the fender (120/70) and there was always room for the tire warmers to fit well... now with the racing tires, the carcass is stiffer, so they don't expand as much.

I know this sounds like a silly question, but do you have all four bolts in place, the two in the front, that go through the fender and into the fork sliders, and the two at the rear, that go through the bosses in the rear of the fork sliders, and into the square nuts attached to the inside of the fender?

Also, have the front holes in the fender expanded from rubbing, due to maybe the bolts being loose, allowing the fender to move a lot in the wind?

Ill have to check on the tire size to be 100% sure on that.

Yeah, all 4 bolts are in there and it may be the holes are worn and letting it sag just enough to rub.

When I mounted a brand new aftermarket front fender, I put a "spacer" between the tire and fender that raised the fender up a little higher than the stock position. Marked the drill points. Removed everything, drilled, mounted, reinstalled everything. No problems, 70 series front tire with warmers, no rubbing.

Finally got a chance to see what size front tire is there and its a 120/70/17. Might be where my issue is.
The holes on the fender look fine and dont look larger than normal. Guess when i replace the tires ill get the correct size this time on the front.

If it has a lot of flex then it's an aftermarket fender, oem fenders are very rigid and shouldn't rub.
