Long story short I had a box of parts that was stolen out of my car while I was waiting for a new shifter drum tocome in. Basically everything else I had taken off for the job is now gone. Someone in my area has an entire f3 motor for sale. Will the clutch basket/shifter forks, etc work in the old f2 engine?

 

Yes,and you'll like the F3 tranny ratio better as well.

It would be easier to put the F3 motor in and be done.
