will this work?? do i need the fuel pump???

You have to get the petcock that uses the vacuum from the left side of the motor..

Hey fellas ...sorry to jump in the middle here but i could def. use some insight on this subject.my bike wasnt gettin fuel so i pulled the tank and gave it a fuel supply from a funnel attached to the intake hose for the bowls ...it fired right up and ran normal...i then opened the petcock off the bike and sucked on the vaccum hose...it was really hard to suck on and barely any fuel came out..im guessing that whatever that vaccuum goes to (prolly a diapragm) is clogged and frozen up...is this a common issue and do you think cleaning it out will fix it or should i start tryin to find a new petcock? any help would be great

Diaphragm falling out of place or wearing out is common to the F2, take it apart and check to see that it's not out of place or has any holes.

F3 petcock doesn't work on the F2... It may work with a fuel pump but I have no experience with that.

The F3 petcock alone will only trickle fuel into the carbs if it flows at all, and if you are hard on the throttle you will starve the bike of fuel and sputter/stall.
