Just putting it out there,

I got so fed up with searching for decent pair of F2 fairings that were in good condition and i had a set of f3 fairings but we all know that they wont bolt to the f2 upper cowl. So i have a friend who is a fiberglass specialist for bikes so he is making me a custom door that will link the upper cowl and lower fairing. Its gonna be carbon fiber, He is doing it for me for cheap and hopefully will start making a couple that he can sell to people who want to do the fairing upgrade.

just wondering if anyone is interested.

hopefully it comes out well, i post pics of what i sent him and dropped off the bike sunday, should be done in the next day or so but this is initally how much of a gap that he is filling

Hope it turns out alright....with it being carbon fiber may look kind of pieced together. I will wait to see the outcome ....

 

well yea but when i paint it i will try to make it look all one cohesive painted bike so i shall see. but yea, i was just so pissed off looking for f2 pieces and i had f3 pieces so i did with what i have, and the f3 sides look so much better

 

I don't know what the craze is with F3 bodywork, I personally prefer the sharp edges of the F2.

 

I have the F3 kit on my F2 and personally like it better...
