Default F2 advice, questions...

Was out test driving my friends 1994 CBR. Rode very good but if the choke wasn't kept on slightly it would stall out when coming to a complete stop. After riding about 1 1/2 hours and putting it back in the garage. I noticed a small **** right near the fuel switch. Started the bike back up and turned the **** slightly and it increased the idle a little bit, shut the choke all the way off and reved it a few times and seemed to be perfect!

What should the CBR idle at I got it set a hair over a 1000 because bellow that it would stall out if the choke wasn't on slightly. (I assume this **** I turned was the idle screw or was it fuel?)

Is this bike worth $1,800? He wanted $2,000 I told him $1,800...

Excellentrunning condition, light scratches on the right farring, 14,500 miles, D&D slip on, pretty good tires.

Oh other thing i noticed was the bikes temerature never got up over the 1/8th way mark the whole time I was riding. Do these bikes run that cold? It got to the half mark when parked in the driveway then the fan kicked on.(it was 70 farenheit outside)

Yes, that little **** is the idle screw...turn it right for higher idle and left for less. I run mine at 1400rpm. These operating temps do run on the cooler side...when there's air flow. Good to hear the fan kicked on...Means it's working properly.
1,800.00 seems a fair offer.

Kid is messing around with me now... told me he was putting it on ebay for 2,300. I told him if it don't sell my offer is going to be lower then... He broke our deal of 1,800+ a full detail on his Suburban, so if it don't sell I'm going to offer him 1,600! I was so pumped we were supposed to change the title today, and now this..[:@]

Let him sell it on Ebay and keep your friendship. I have never had good luck selling to a friend. If something breaks it always seems to cause tension. If you do offer again tell him $500 and he detail your car.

Yeah I'm def not throwing my friendship away over it. It's just a bike if I don't get it, it wasn't meant to be...

Yeah, sometimes you just have to let something slide. Bikes are bikes, and there's plenty of them around. I personally wish I never would have sold my previous bike to one of my buddies. After having it for less than 3 months he wrecked it. I'd feel even worse if he had actually gotten seriously injured or killed in the process.
