F3 carbs on an F2
Ok so I have an F2 with F3 carbs on it and F2 air box. The problem is that fuel runs out of one of the direct air injection pipes that are supposed to run to the air box. I've looked at a lot of the air solenoid deletes and can't quit wrap my head around what I need to do. Is it that I need to run a hose to the air box and fab a inlet? Would this work? Or is it not running right?
I tried to just block off the pipe and see what would happen and it seemed to just run rich. Had white smoke and the pitch of the exhaust changed. Sounded flatter if that makes sense.
Just as a side note, it was never running when I bought it. The PO said it had a blown head gasket. Never really found out. Suspected it was the oil cooler o-rings which led to broken bolts being drilled out and drill bits breaking off in the case. New engine and it runs except for the above. So slowly I'm getting this back on the street but it has a hodge podge of mixed parts from F2 and F3 bikes all from the PO.

Fuel flowing out of the tube sounds like a float/floats are sticking. Have you been inside of the carbs yet? Clean?

Make sure you have the right hoses blocked off.
