I heard that the F2 has a specific code name (MV9) on some of the parts. I'm going to see if my F2 engine says that. If so, then I may have found the solution.

this is true..mv9 was the the code name for the 600f2 when under r/d

F3 motor will run on an F2 harness.Been there, done that.

Aftermarket tensioners are swapable between the two motors.Been there done that too.

F3 intake boots are 2mm larger.I've seen F2 carbs mounted on an F3 motor.

The back of the cylinder head will have 3 letters on it between #2 and #3 cylinders.MAL.Plus the head will be a wee bit more shiny than the F2 head.

The only diference between the 2 cdi's is the F3 cdi has additional plugs for the TPS.

The F3 engines have a speed sensor by the starter for the electronic speedo but guess on an F2 it could be plugged.

so if I damage my f2 engine case say a piston broke damage the case right and I get a f3 case and put it on if I take out all my parts inside my f2 motor and put it inside my f3 engine case would everything fit and work normally spray from the hole just after the starter it looks like how the can tensioner hole is can I block it up because the f2 do have it so can I
