dropped bike.. won't start
Hey everybody,
One of my good buddies recommended this site to me and told me how helpful you all are, so hopefully somebody can offer some suggestions for my problem. I'm still really new to motorcycles (been riding only about 3 months), and made the mistake of letting one of my friends who just got a permit ride the '92 cbr I had just bought.
Needless to say, he was taking a turn really slowly and dropped the bike on the kickstand side, and when he picked it up it turned off immediately. I got it to start to ride it back to my house, but since then I can't get it to start again.
PROBLEM: the engine turns over slowly when I hit the starter, but it won't pick up and start running.
Honestly, I just really don't know where to start... The drop doesn't look like it messed up too much, a few scratches but the engine area doesn't seem damaged at all.
Sorry for my ignorance on this matter, hopefully it is something incredibly stupid and easy to fix, but if any of you have some ideas on how I could go about starting to fix it, I would appreciate any input. Thanks so much for all of your time, take care.
