difference between forks?

So, my bike got trashed after being rearended by a car and i want to convert it to a track specific bike. The forks on my 94 are trashed, so i need to get new ones. The forks on mine are adjustable. Are the forks on previous year f2's adjustable also, or should i look for some off a 94 only? What do you guys think about getting f3 forks? Are they better? Thanks in advance for any help!!!

RE: difference between forks?

I believe 94 was the only year the F2's had adjustable forks, F3 forks won't work unless you get an F3 wheel as well cause of the speedo sesnsor

RE: difference between forks?

some people have said that you can just swap the internals (between f2-f3) but i have yet to confirm that info
if any did just that let me know if it indeed is a direct internal swap

RE: difference between forks?

91-93 forks were preload only.

94 F2s came with cartridge internals.

The internals are directly interchangeable between the two generations of forks.
