ok i got a 94 cbr 600 f2..I took the intake off to clean the carbs well i put the intake system on the floor for a few..When i lifted it up i found these Gaskets i believe there from the intake somewhere.(Please god i hope not carbs) but i wasnt working on the carbs in the area the gaskets were found.They were underneath the intake when i lifted it up off the ground.So could someone please shed some light for me and tell me how important they are.2 of them looked ****ed up i know i didnt do that.So how important are these and were exactly do they go?

Are they Desperately needed?..I mean Would it really hurt without putting them back on?

 

They're there for a reason. Why would you consider leaving them out? Sure you can PROBABLY drive your car with 4 out of 5 lug nuts on every wheel, but why the hell would you?

The "****ed up" ones are just twisted like an elastic band, straighten them out and put them back onto the carb side before putting the lower piece of the airbox that holds the velocity stacks on.

You'll want those there otherwise you'll be leaking unfiltered air into the carbs.

Those gaskets go on this side of the carbs:

 

Since I pull mine apart all the time for jetting changes, I put a dab of synthetic disc brake hardware lube in the grooves of the carb, and now those o-rings stay put. [8D]
And yes, you need them. [8D]

 

yea stupid question might as well just take the dam airbox back off But thanks everyone to letting me know where they go.[X(]
