Hi, total newbie here. Just bought a '92 F2 to add to my toy collection (Jeeps). I did a little work on it (petcock) and took it out for the first time this weekend. This was my first ride ever on my first bike....holy crap that was fun!

Anyway, I need to change out the headlight bulb and was wondering how the hell you do that? Do I need to take off all the front fairings?

Anyway, any help will be appreciated,

You can download the service manual (it is stickied at the top of the General Tech section). It has step by step instructions for everything. To answer you your question, yes (I think ).

 

I did mine from underneath, just took off the clip and out came the bulb. You can even get the replacement bulb at advance auto.

 

yeah u dont need to take off the fairing just reach in behind and unplugg it then take off the clip
