Chain & sprocket set?

Chain & sprocket set?
Hey guys. Could I get some suggestions on where to go to buy a chain and sprocket set for my 93 f2? And what brand to get if i'm looking for something SOLID. As of now, I have no clue. Nothing pretty, just a brand known for durability and toughness. Also need suggestions for a HIGH flow filter to put between the tank and the carbs since this model only has a fuel strain in the tank. Something that won't starve the bike since gas is gravity fed. Thanks!

I always recommend DID or RK chains as those are the ones I've had good experiences with. Some people like Regina chains, but the one I got as an OEM chain showed some surface rust within a month or ownership so I'm hesitant to suggest them. If you're looking for durability, go for a STEEL rear sprocket as the aluminum ones tend to wear quicker and there's a better chance of your breaking teeth. That being said, I've used and am currently using Vortex aluminum sprockets on two of my bikes and they are both holding up rather well. If you're still shopping for one by Wednesday, shoot me a PM and I'll hook you up on a good deal.

I'd look for a good deal on an RK xring gold chain and some steel sprockets. Sometimes they're a lot cheaper to get them separately from places like ebay, but sometimes they're not. I will never get a regular steel chain after using the gold ones. The extra $10 or so is well worth it, imo. They stay looking a lot better.
I'm using JT steel sprockets atm, but there are a lot of decent steel sprockets out there for pretty cheap.

Sprocket Center - You can buy individual components or complete chain & sprocket kits. Have always had good product & service from them. Many of the members here do business w/ them as well.
Like Ray, I recommend, D.I.D or RK chains...both are OEM & are excellent quality. Also recommend steel sprockets for daily use.
