Default Cct

94 f2

so i was riding along whistling to some random tune.. then i notice my bike starts to sound... like a cruiser sorta.. it has a deeep deep mumble to it but only in the low rpms along with a rattle below the gas tank.... if i roll the throttle then it sounds like how its suupposed to! so i roll into a neighborhood to cruise around to see if it would keep makin that noise. it starts to bother me so i turn off the bike for 5 min then turn it back on.. it hesitates to turn on for the first few times.. then it finally turns on but still has that rattle and the deep mumble.. so im guessing its the CCT. and it also runs like shyt in the low rpms.. are these symtoms of a CCT needing to be replaced?

Possibly a clogged petcock Or you're low on gas and need to fill the tank? If it's the petcock, there's really no use trying to rebuild the one you've got. Keep an eye on ebay and see if you can't get an F3 petcock in decent working condition.

It will not harm anything, but if you run out of gas you are screwed...
