Hello, I'm new to this forum as of about a week ago. Currently in the process of rebuilding a 93 f2 which I got cheap off a relative who said & I quote"it just needs a manifold".

so the first thing I did was buy a manifold
after a lot of messing about the carbs were stripped & what a state they were, lots of crystallised fuel, yep water in the engine too 🙁.... this forced everything to stop oh no what to do,I was never going to spend lots on this bike more of a see what happens kind of thing... eBay to the rescue.. two months later I have a reasonable (bit grubby) but running engine .. whoop whoop

so on with the engine in the bike.... but oh no what's this the manifold studs have been cut short(must have been on removal of the guy I bought it from) 😩

This is when I decided the engine got to come out again, I'm gunna do my own thing this time build it with my own twist...

so I'm looking to create a streetfighter/bobber if possible kinda bike..
lets see eh..
its well inderway now but still so much to do & as generally day to day life takes over, progress is slowing...

what has been done.
bike stripped frame painted black
front forks silver /rear swing arm painted black
new second hand (eBay) top clamp paint Matt black
new drag style bars in black
new brake & clutch levers
single headlight old skool look (led)
engine painted light grey.
fuel tank painted from red to light grey.
Rear seat chopped & cbr1000rr seat on.
currently on with smashing my head with the wiring loom going back in the bike after making some modifications for the ss182 clock...

still plenty to to do like.
new tyres
wheels powder coating
rear light & indicators.
radiator ??
chain & sprockets (got not installed)...

if if you have read this far thanks very much will add pics soon..

im after some ideas for mounting the ss182 clock to my bike bracket wise or fixings ..
thanks again... Dan

so the last few days managed to do a few more things, came up with a nice little bracket to mount my new digital clock..

wiring loom spliced together ether for the new clocks.. and the rear end of the bike primed & painted..

having a few EE issues with the headlight, hopefully will be nothing too major, see when it goes back on the bike..
