Default cbr of the month. What went wrong?

This is a little late, but how the hell did a pretty much bone stock straight off the line cbr600rr beat a sweet f2, and every other custom bike for that matter, for cbr of the month? I thought cbr of the month was to promote custom work and creative design, not how nice the new production model looks, or how nice Mr. Honda's new paint scheme is.

Bro, i'm not holding grudges. Honostly, i think the black 600RR is sick looking. Yeah, it may be pretty much stock, but, alot of people like the newer bikes. And, by the vote count, most of the guys on here feel the same way. Me, personally, i like the old style, and, so did quite afew others. Thanks for the votes by the way. But, I just don't think the larger amount of people on here like the older bikes. But, i'm still working on my bike. I'm waiting on a new black double bubble. I busted the one that was on there. Something none of ya knew, i brought my bike back from this

I low sided it and tore up the whole side. Orderd new plastics and brought it to what it looks like now.
I also plan on adding an HID headlight, and, LEDs inside the farings, not like MusicHyp's, i just want a low subtle look. And, a Corbin Seat is also on the list. Also, i do plan on fabbing up myself an undertail. I'll keep ya updated with the parts.

Wow, i totaly went off topic there. As to what went wrong, the F2 is an old bike, and, just doesn't get the attention of the new bikes. Luck of the draw. I love my bike, and, that's really all that matters.

That's cool, I wasn't so much mad that your bike lost, as much as that a stock bike won. I know 2 people with the exact same bike. There were alot of newer bike up for it with lots of work put into them that lost.

I'd love to see an undertail! That's the only thing I wish my bike had.

Go to the ROTM and look at what I said. I got a โ€™01 929RR and itโ€™s not that clean. You got to give it up for an older bike that looks good, but I drive an old car (โ€™78 Pontiac Trans Am) and an older bike is not looked at like an older car is, it sad really when you think about it. JM2C
