Default CBR F2 to 600RR Tail Conversion

Hi, I want to know if there is a how to - Tail conversion for my motorcycle, i want to do it but i haven't been able to get a good tutorial so that i can follow up..thank you guys =)

lol you can do what i'm doing buy the tail and start fabricating from there

It looks nice from behind...but let me ask you a question, if I buy this part below and the seats i can just start the welding to align the holes for the screws...?

oo the f4i tail, good choice. that one is going to be a little bit harder considering its a split seat. if you want the rear seat to be functional aka someone can sit on it, your going to have to weld a support bracket back there. but ya once you get it, line it up and start fabbing

Yea it's pretty easy once you slap the new tail on there and see what needs to be done. I did an RR tail on mine over a weekend using simple tools and some angle iron.








Doing somtyhing better with the side panels over the winter.

RageHardIntoTheBendies: from what specific motorcycle you got that tail? it looks awesome, thats exactly how I was picturing mine to look like, even the color, Im In Love with your motorcycle, anyways you can give me details of what you have done to it? and like i said plese details of the motorcycle and year of the tail so that i can do the same thing to mine..

The tail is a 05-06 600rr solo tail I found on ebay for cheap.

The split seats are definitely sexier, I think. I pose this question to the members who are more experienced with frame fabrication: Is it possible to rig up a bolt on support for the rear seat to be functional, rather than welding it to the original frame?
