Carb question need help like pronto.
hello hello. got a good one for you may be stupid but i am not sure.
1. I cleaned my carbs today and the main jet is perfect and clean when i took it out. The pilot jet is clean as well but if i hold it to the light i cant see through the shaft of the jet. Is this supposed to be this way or is it blocked. I am not sure if it is supposed to be straight through like the main jet.
2.Pilotscrew oh boy this one is crazy. In the manual it shows that it is a phillips head but my pilot screw looks like a circle with a piece missing. The only way to explain it is it looks like a three quarter moon. Cl looks kind of like that. My question is, is this a cap over the head of the screw or does it require a special tool?
I really appreciate any help. Finishing up tomorrow. Thanks!

Nick,
Yeah...I had the same situation. I even bought a special tool from motion pro that I thought would work, but that ended up being a flat head on the end of a right angle. I ended up taking my dremel to the top of mine and made them all slotted for a flathead. Page 6-14 of the Honda Service Manual states that you need a pilot screw wrench:
