Can't take steady 120km/h (~75mph)
Hi.
I have a slight problem with my CBR , she can't keep steady 120km/h. I thought high revs would low down the -pressure enought to close the gas tap and changed the tap and the hose going there, but it didn't help (alltough I do think changing the 19 year old hose was anyway a good idea). She'll run 80km/h on 2nd gear easily for kilometers with high revs. But when I'll drop to highway and take the permitted 120km/h, I'll get forward for few kilometers (under 10) and she coughs up, loses power and shuts down. She won't start before enough time has passed by - like she'd need to cool down. The staring motor rotates the engine easily, she just won't start. The symptoms are just like she'd stop getting fuel, but I can't think any reason how that could be speed related.
Edit: Argh! Sorry very much for posting to wrong area - I'd delete this message and create another to the tech area, but I can't seem to find any delete -related possibility.
