Default Can I build a CBR/Hornet hybrid?

Hi - I'm Les, from Redmond, WA. Just bought a naked '92 CBR600f2. I like the acceleration and the handling, but the riding posture is uncomfortable. It might be interesting to turn the bike into a Hornet hybrid. Does anyone know if a 2004 600 Hornet top fork [ like BikeBandit 682921] will substitute onto my bike with minimum modif ? That would allow me to install cruise-like handlebars. Thanx for your help.

Les C.

Part numbers are different. By the looks of it, the hornet top fork tubes are shorter than an F2-F4. Same for damper assembly. You would hit the bars with the upper fork tubes. Same diameter tho. You could look for some adjustable riser clip ons. 41mm.
